A Look Down the Road

          Looking at where my life will be at in 20 years is a very challenging goal as I am not sure where my life will end up. In my ideal scenario, I would want to be a researcher, in a big lab, looking up ways to use stem cells to regrow certain organs of the body. I think that I would still be living in California and will have bought a home and settled down with a family. I am living a comfortable life and enjoying the work that I do helping those in need. These goals only being attainable through the work I do know, however.

         Starting at my first step on the road to having the life I want, I need to get into one of the colleges I have applied to. My list of colleges all has the major(bioengineering) that will propel me forward with my understanding of the topics needed for the future. After my fours of college, I plan on getting my Masters Degree because I have seen that most careers in the field of bioengineering require a Master's Degree. The final step of my plan, after getting my Master’s, is to look into different research labs that are looking into the topic that I am interested in. Working for 10-15 years should put me into the position where I can have the life that I described above. While this is something that would be if life played out perfectly, I still feel like I can reach my goal of living a comfortable life no matter what path I end up on.
