For my final project of Algebra 2, we had to create a spreadsheet and calculate how much we would have to pay for college using different interest rates and under certain guidelines. This project was really fun to do and is something I could put to later use when I find out what college I will be attending.

US HISTORY EXAM ESSAY

For an exam in my US History Class, we had to write an essay about life in the US before, during, and after the Civil War. It was an interesting type of exam but did allow me to look at the life of the people, during those times, in a more in-depth way.

ENGLISH ESSAY

For an essay in my English class last year, we were asked to write about the connections between a modern-day transcendentalist and those of the past. A transcendentalist is someone who wants to be one with nature and sees all of the horrible things that man has done and wants to separate themselves from that lifestyle. The essay was challenging at first but proved to be one of the most thought-provoking essays I have written in a long time.
